@Rick

Wait, what? The series would have ended in four games if Howard's foul against Garnett would have been changed to a Flagrant 1 during Game 4? I hope you do realize there was roughly 18 minutes left in the game when that call occurred, not including the overtime. The Celtics had many chances to win the game but it didn't happen, end of story.

Yeah, anyone that argues that somehow the league is conspiring to put the Magic in the Finals are idiots. Plain and simple. The Celtics have the bigger name, bigger market, bigger draw ... everything.

@JJ Green

Not sure if you're comment was serious or sarcastic, but I highly doubt that two well-respected officials are gambling in the middle of a playoff series.

Hahaha Classic.... I'm sure we can come up with another conspiracy before Game 6.

My guess is that Ed Rush or Joe Crawford are still involved with gambling.

Yeah, the NBA wants to make sure the mighty Orlando market and franchise gets to the Finals for TV ratings. Why would stern want little old Boston in the Finals?

after watching the first half of game 5 I can only think back to the Lakers - Kings series on 2002. The Kings had the series and the refs stepped in to make sure the Laker won the series and all this was done with full complicity on the part of the NBA. The organization simply turned a blind eye to the situation (Probably because they were responsible for ordering it). Now I am watching the same think happen again in the Boston - Orlando series. THe officiating is so one-sided a blind man could see it with his cane. Ed Rush needs to be fined for his part in the bad calls and he should be suspended from officiating in any playoff games for the next year. THen maybe we can get an honest game. Giving Perkins the first technical was a stretch but the 2nd should not have even been a foul, much less a Technical. While Boston is getting called for all these, Howard was able to take down Perkins with an arm across the shoulder and another pulling down his uniform and barely got a normal foul. THen when he tried to take out Garnett, he got a simple foul. After the game it was changed to a flagrant 1 but that was too late to affect the game. If it had been called correctly to begin with, the series would have ended at 4
