I should not have said, "Take Lebron out of this game." I mean to say, if he doesn't go off we are in this game.

We played poorly, really bad. However, you take Lebron out of this game and we are right in through most of it. The Heat were not great except for Lebron. I think what the Magic did in the first half was great. Pick and roll, swing ball to corner for easy entry pass, Dwight seals and dunk. Or we just hit him on pick and roll. All that disappeared. Right now, we are just a super good regular season team. We may be number 5 in playoffs behind Hawks if we don't play better.
Another loss to an elite team. At this point I was expecting it. What really annoys me is the media narrative of Lebron being motivated to perform well against the magic due Otis's comments last summer. If he was so peeved why didn't he say so when he played the Magic the first two times? I think he's talking smack because the Magic have been playing bad and he knew his team was going to win whereas the first two times the Heat and Magic played that wasn't the case. Another reason to dislike Lebron who I think is a bit of a coward.
as long as nelson plays for this team they cannot win.
magic needs a PG like Nash. A 36 yr old Nash in any day better than a younger Nelson
you cant win such a game with 3 quarters of poor shooting on open threes and this freethrow miss from several palyers 3/13 howard 0/2 anderson and gilbert 3/6 thats horrible!
the last three attempt from anderson to tie game maybe was a foul an him....
the only oint is that you see the team is wiling to fight until the last secound.
lebron have an suberb night its hard to see that he have often hands in his face but this "monster" still hits jumpers...
Nelson gave this team a chance to win. He proved he's got heart in him and he'll stand up to any situation. He's still deserved the position as co-captain of this team after the trades, hands down.
I hope van gundy's decision to play arenas and clark down the stretch is a sign to this team that you have to want to play every minute and make it count, i just don't see the heart in this team during the middle of the game that i've always associated with every magic team.
nelson plays good last night in my opionion. the missing threes at the first three quarters was often open look... its not a problem through the passing (nelson) only the shooters misses.
