In the eyes of many, the Orlando Magic are free-falling

To be honest, NBA power rankings mean very little. At the most, they represent a snapshot of the league at a respective moment in time. But it says something that the Orlando Magic continue to fall down the ranks. This is merely one example.

Over the last 15 games Turk has averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 assists, 4.9 rebounds and only 1.7 turnovers. He's scored 11 or more points in 14 of the 15 games. His true shooting % has been 59.3 %. If this is inconsistency, I'll take more of it. Hey, and he's even consistent on his foul shots. He's missed the first of two almost every time.

Actually turk has been one of our better players lately, he hasn't been inconsistent imo. Jrich and arenas have been inconsistent. Hollingers rankings matter the most. That guy really is an idiot.

14 on SI. :(

It doesn't help that we shoot 9.5% on 3s against the Bucks.

I only really ever look at John Hollinger's Power Rankings because they are mathematical and give you a better idea of how a team is playing rather than one writer's opinion. In those rankings, we're 5th. So we're doing something right despite our ineptitude and frequent boredom with the end of the regular season.

the SI guy, not hollinger. that magic have been playing poorly, but to make myself feel better I always look at the real close games they lost and see at least 4 or 5 since the trades that could have ended differently with just 1 play that went right. granted I'm still not confident in anything past a first round victory
