Magic Basketball, founded and launched in April 2010, is a blog which covers the Orlando Magic for the TrueHoop Network.

Magic Basketball is dedicated to providing coverage and cutting-edge statistical analysis of the Orlando Magic. The hope is to provide another haven for Magic fans to stop by and chat about the team in an articulate, fun, and thoughtful manner.

About:

Born and raised in Orlando, Eddy Rivera is a Chicago-based writer who earned his graduate degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He also wrote for the award-winning Orlando Pinstriped Post, a blog which covers the Orlando Magic and is among the many independent sources credentialed by a professional sports team. As such, he’s been able to cover the 2009 Orlando Pro Summer League, interview Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, among others, and report on the Magic.
